Greatrex Sporting Goods (Greatrex Australia) specialises in Baseball, Softball and Teeball equipment and uniforms, offering in house manufacturing with services including embroidery, screen printing, sublimation printing, sticker printing and more. All of these services are done in house in our Port Road premises.
Greatrex was established 44 years ago by former Australian baseballer, Kevin Greatrex and his wife Judy, and is now owned and operated by Children of Kevin and Judy, Jay and Kelly. Initially established to supply the baseball and softball community with good quality affordable playing equipment, Greatrex was asked to supply uniforms designed for play.
To supply the best it quickly became apparent that Greatrex would need to set up their own manufacturing plant. Judy, a previous Deputy Principal of a Primary school studied pattern making, cutting and manufacturing and Kevin, a teacher also, researched the skills of his late father – a tailor by trade.
Employing the best skilled and qualified staff in all aspects of design and manufacturing and investing in high technology equipment, Greatrex became a leader in garment manufacture.
The baseball, softball, teeball retail outlet, showroom, manufacturing factory for sportswear, embroidery, screen and sublimation printing facilities are situated at 630 Port Road Beverley, just 15 minutes from the city of Adelaide, South Australia.
Greatrex offers a wide range of playing equipment from brands including Wilson, Mizuno, Easton, Louisville Slugger, Nike, New Balance, Franklin, All Star and many other well known brands.
