The story behind “TV Tape”

In college, we used athletic tape for several reasons.  Sometimes on our bat handles as the grip tape, sometimes on the barrels of our wooden BP bats, and sometimes we would wear it on our wrists during games.  

For the most part, the only reason many of us wore it on our wrists during games was because we thought it looked cool, especially when we played on TV.  Because of this, we started referring to our wrist tape as, “TV Tape”.

Our TV Tape product is a spin on the traditional athletic tapes with our different themed tapes, redesigned for the new age ballplayers who love to have fun and express themselves on the ball field!

This new era of ballplayer requires a new era of old school athletic tape, with unique designs that fit the modern day ballplayer.
